Pet Sitters International

OBJECTIVE:

Pet Sitters International offers certification courses for pet sitting and wanted to promote pet sitting as an excellent career choice.  Fetching’s goal was to attract national media attention to the story idea and to generate greater awareness of the certification program.

RESULT:

The Oregonian ran a feature story about Pet Sitters International, including interviews of certified PSI pet sitters located in Oregon.  This piece reached 119,517 readers in print and 5.6 million readers online.  The story was then picked up by WPA Briefs, with a reach of 17,451 pet industry professionals.  In addition, interviews were arranged and placements are pending with the Boston Globe (circulation: 274,538)  and Woman’s World Magazine (circulation: 1,106,643).
