Kristen Levine

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleader

Combining her love of football with a lifelong hobby of dance, Kristen auditioned and became a Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s Cheerleader for the 2000 & 2001 NFL seasons. She shared her public relations skills while representing the football team at games, community events and charity functions. Kristen was one of only 13 cheerleaders chosen to travel with Armed Forces Entertainment on the Enduring Freedom Tour 2002. The team travelled to five Middle Eastern countries to perform for U.S. troops.

“The opportunity to deliver a “slice of home” to American troops fighting the war on terrorism was the most rewarding experience of my life. The greatest audiences are in those battlefields half-a-world away. Performing for 16 or 16,000, every crowd taught us the importance of taking time out to enjoy life’s simple pleasures, especially in times of war. A favorite song, a funny joke or a new friend to share stories with can go a long way in building morale. I treasure that experience and will always be thankful for the sacrifices our U.S. troops make every day to ensure our freedom.”
